Great Yarmouth Town will look to upset the odds once again this evening when they travel to Dereham Town in the fourth round of the Norfolk Senior Cup, kick-off 7.45pm.

Fresh from knocking out Thurlow Nunn Premier Division champions Hadleigh out of the FA Vase, Yarmouth go to the Magpies full of confidence.

Manager Ricci Butler is hopeful of repeating Saturday's success, insisting his squad has the capability to beat Dereham, who play two levels higher than the Bloaters.

'I think we have set ourselves a standard, which we must look to maintain,' said Butler, who took over at Wellesley Road after Mike Derbyshire was sacked towards the end of last season. 'It's about making sure that we keep pushing on.

'The main thing we've told the boys is to make sure that we go out and enjoy it. We know we are good enough to beat Dereham and we've just got to show it again.'

Something is obviously agreeing with Yarmouth and cup competitions this season although Butler's side face another tough task in the FA Vase after the draw for the third round was made yesterday.

The Bloaters will travel to Essex Senior League Premier Division side Hullbridge Sports, who accounted for AFC Rushden & Diamonds in the second round. Butler isn't daunted by the task of facing another side who operate in the step above them.

'If I'm honest I didn't really mind who we got,' he added. 'The only thing I didn't want was to play a Norwich United or a Stanway because they are so familiar to us.

'Other than that I wasn't too bothered because we seem to up our game against higher league opposition. We are at the stage now where there are only good teams left in the competition.

'We played Waltham Forest from their league so we know the kind of standard that we're going to be up against.'

The region's other representative in the Vase, Norwich United, have also been handed an away tie with the Planters due to travel to Tring Athletic on Saturday, December 6. Tring operate at the same level as Damian Hilton's men but are currently struggling in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.

Norwich United are also in Senior Cup action this evening as they welcome Fakenham to Plantation Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

Swaffham Town will be looking to cause an upset tonight when they entertain Wroxham at Shoemakers Lane, kick-off 7.45pm.
