Great Witchingham skipper James Spelman led his side to the group final of the ECB National Club Championship – the Kingfisher Beer Cup – after scoring his second century of the weekend on Sunday.

The Norfolk opener, pictured, followed up his 147no in the EAPL on Saturday with 101 as the Witches beat Vauxhall Mallards by 117 runs at Walcis Park.

Witchingham will now play Brentwood in the Group 13 final on Sunday, June 17. The 16 group winners progress to the national knockout stages of the competition. If they beat the Essex side, Witchingham will be at home against either Barnt Green or Banbury.

In Sunday's game, Sam Arthurton added 60 in the Witches' total of 270 for five from 45 overs.

Mallards never recovered from the loss of three early wickets in reply. Carl Amos hit 54 before becoming one of three victims for his former Norfolk opening partner Carl Rogers as Mallards slumped to 153 all out in the 36th over.
