Gorleston will look to bounce back from their weekend humbling when they host Walsham-le-Willows.

The Greens were thumped 5-0 at Whitton United on Saturday in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division but turn their attentions to the League (Challenge) Cup this evening. Manager Ricci Butler has vowed to wield his axe for the clash as he aims to secure a trip to Kirkley & Pakefield in the next stage.

The Gorleston boss said on Twitter: “Ringing the changes in for Tuesday’s @gorlestonfc league cup tie #deservedopportunities #freshlook”.

In top-flight league action tonight, champions Norwich United – the unbeaten early pacesetters – welcome a Swaffham Town side still under the temporary management of defender Matthew Parkinson. Thetford Town are also without a permanent boss as they get ready to entertain Mildenhall Town. Diss Town are at home to Woodbridge Town in the First Division.

Higher-level Ryman League North Dereham Town are at home to a Witham Town side that travel to King’s Lynn Town in the FA Cup on Saturday.
