Downham Market's Jon Good is looking forward to the second round of the British Supermono Championship at Snetterton on May 1-3 after three top four places, including a second and third, on the opening weekend at the Pembray Circuit in Wales.
Good's last appearance at his home venue resulted in a season-ending horrific high speed crash.
But he is fully recovered from his injuries and using a Yamaha 690 engined Tigcraft-framed machine, with financial support from Hylton Gott Volvo-Subaru-Isuzu.
The Supermono Championship relies on mechanical ingenuity as the rules are loosely based on any engine as long as it is single cylinder and any chassis, making for huge variety and great racing. This year's series is being televised on Motors TV.
The first round saw Hilgay's Team James win all three races with British champion Mark Laws on the Pami BMW 740 engined GRC framed bike.
