It was a glorious day's sailing at Gorleston for the final day of the Sprint series which is sailed on the first Sunday of each month throughout the season.

The two morning races were sailed in a light shifty wind as the sea breeze began to kick in. Dick Roe and Kate Dulieu in a 59'er were on top form with two wins, beating the RS400 of Richard Fryer and Carol Smalls in the first race and the RS800 of Chris Sallis and Jamie Freeman in the second.

By the time the third race started the sea breeze had picked up. On corrected time Dave Houghton and John Symonds in a RS500 took the win with Sallis and Freeman second. Overall winners of the Sprint series were Martin Browne and Di Slatter.
