The next wave of girls taking up a new sport are expected at Crusaders on Thursday, January 25 as the club hosts the England Rugby Inner Warrior campaign designed to encourage women and girls to get involved.

Head of girls' coaching at Crusaders Jo Freeman said: 'Team sports such as rugby make fitness fun and social and all the girls support each other. The Warrior Camps give women the opportunity to try rugby, often for the first time.'

Since its initial launch, over 10,500 women have attended Warrior Camps nationwide and of those women, 3,500 had never picked up a rugby ball before.
