Horsford bowlers Luke Caswell and Michael Warnes picked up all 10 wickets as Burwell were skittled out for the lowest score in the league's 13-year history on Saturday.

Caswell bagged six for nine and Norfolk colleague Warnes collected four for 17 as the Suffolk side tumbled to just 34 all out in 21.2 overs at Manor Park.

The visitors had won the toss and chosen to bowl first and initially they took the upper hand, as Matthew Spenceley, Jaik Mickleburgh and James Wild were sent back to the pavilion with only 49 on the board.

Australian Chris Sabburg was then joined by Caswell in a stand of 96 for the fourth wicket before Sabburg departed for 77 from 150 balls, having struck 11 fours. Caswell followed immediately afterwards for 34 and Horsford went on to post 177 for nine from their 66 overs.

In a sign of things to come, Warnes struck with the second ball of the Burwell reply as he bowled Peter Richer.

Caswell followed up with three quick wickets as the hosts were reduced to five for four and after a brief respite, Warnes removed Glenn Goosen for what transpired to be a top score of 14 for Burwell.

The last five wickets of the innings all fell with the score on 34 as Horsford moved up to second in the table.

Swardeston picked up two early wickets to reduce the visitors to 25 for two, but opener George Brown added 58 with Michael Comber (37) and 75 with Sritharan Nitoshan (46) as he guided Clacton across the line.

Great Witchingham finally registered their first win of the season, beating Halstead by 94 runs.

Skipper James Spelman hit an unbeaten 130 from 153 balls as the Witches declared on 254 for four.

A century partnership for the second wicket between Freddie Blackwell (60) and Daniel Sincuba (56) threatened to take the game away from Witchingham, but spinners Carl Rogers (five for 51) and James Hale (four for eight) induced a collapse from 118 for one to 160 all out.

Vauxhall Mallards were held to a draw in a rain-affected match against champions Cambridge Granta at Brundall.

The game got under way at 1.30pm with Mallards choosing to bowl first.

Mallards forced their way back into the match as Martin Addison collected four wickets, with Granta closing on 197 for eight from their 50 overs.

The hosts also made a solid start in their innings as openers Carl Amos (27) and David Turner (38) put on 42.
