Lowestoft Town FC suffered a third year of play-off agony, after falling at the final hurdle once more in their pursuit of promotion to the Conference.
About 2,500 fans turned out at Crown Meadow on a baking bank holiday Monday, but the Trawler Boys hopes of reaching non-league's second tier were sunk by The Beach Boys following a late winner from Leon Gordon.
