Halesworth & District Independent Darts League held it's end of season high scores and most wins competitions recently with great success.

Most wins was hosted by Beccles Ingate and each team submitted two representatives, making a full field of 16 entrants. John Lowe progressed through to the final with impressive wins over Rob Warman, Vinny Mudd and Goldie Jay.

His opponent was home player Frankie Ansell, who had disposed of team-mate Mark Eaton and Earsham's Antony Bond on the way. In a cracking final Ansell made home advantage count as he took victory.

Two weeks later Halesworth Social hosted the most high scores competition and again, 16 participated. For the second competition Ansell beat Eaton with clinical finishing. Gary Doughty hit two 180s on course to a semi-final spot where he was beaten by Norfolk's Vinny Mudd.

Rob Warman beat Steve Ludkin, John Lowe and Goldie Jay on his way to the final where Mudd was victorious 2-1.
