Former Lowestoft Town striker Jake Reed has signed for Ryman League Division One North side, AFC Sudbury.
The 23-year-old left the Trawlerboys on Wednesday evening having failed to agree a new deal with the Suffolk outfit.
Reed's departure alerted several clubs but David Batch's men have won the race for his signature despite the fact they are playing two leagues below Lowestoft next season.
