A former England cricketer is to be the guest speaker at a formal charity dinner.
Matthew Fleming played for Kent County Cricket Club for 13 years and represented England in one day internationals in the late 1990s.
He is now Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) president and will be speaking at a charity dinner to raise money for the Norfolk Branch of the Lord's Taverners.
The Lord's Taverners have been able to supply the Norwich Hall School with a disabled accessible minibus and wheelchairs for sporting enthusiasts through previous fund-raising.
As well as his cricket stories, he is likely to mention his great uncle Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond.
The four course dinner is being held on May 12, at the Brasteds, Framingham Pigot.
