Norwich City legend Grant Holt helped to keep the Canaries at the top of the Championship table last night, playing a key role as Huddersfield Town surprisingly won 3-1 at Wolves.

The home side went into the game knowing they would move above Norwich if they beat the Terriers at Molineux – but the Yorkshire side enjoy playing them.

They have now won seven straight games against Wolves and their 3-1 victory inflicted a first home league defeat on Kenny Jackett's side since last December.

Harry Bunn – set up by typical hard graft and a powerful cross from former Canaries skipper Holt – and Sean Scannell scored in the first half before Conor Coady's brilliant third after the break.

Bakary Sako pulled one back but Wolves have now not beaten Huddersfield since 1997.

Wolves failed to deal with Holt throughout the game, who terrorised the home side on his full Terriers' debut after joining on loan from Wigan. [View the story "Feeling the love for Grant Holt from yesterday's game" on Storify]
