FAKENHAM High School Year 7 girls became county champions last week, successfully defending the title they won last year representing the town's junior school.
Having qualified for the county final back in October last year the girls have been attending weekly training sessions in order to prepare for this event.
Thanks must go to Rachel Robinson, from Fakenaham Football Club, and Helena Cribbins for running these sessions.
At the event the girls had to play seven matches, winning six and only conceded three goals, two of them being penalties.
