The Raiders slipped to their first defeat of the season when they travelled with a depleted squad to face a well organised Fakenham.
For about 70 minutes the sides were evenly matched and at half-time the scores were level at six points each, with the Raiders' points coming from the boot of Connor Tovee-Galey.
In the final 10 the heavier Fakenham pack squeezed over and right at the end a Raiders' error was punished with a converted try.
