King's Lynn have got themselves out of a real muddle by making a reserve switch.

Carl Wilkinson has replaced Simon Lambert in the Stars' 2016 Elite League team after his lower-level commitments caused 'complications'.

Boss Rob Lyon said: 'We looked at the draft list and there weren't any realistic options available to us. We asked for Carl to be included on the list and thankfully the other seven clubs were co-operative in that process.'

Wilkinson becomes the club's second change at reserve throughout the winter after Lambert arrived to fill the void left by Lewis Kerr's departure.
