The EDP F1 podcast is back and in full flow for the new season, as our panel gets stuck into the opening race of the 2014 season in Melbourne.

Eastern Daily Press Formula One correspondent Michael Bailey and his bumper panel of fans and analysts assess what went wrong for Daniel Ricciardo, whether Mercedes are already looking good to run away with things and attempt to reproduce the sound of the new V6 turbo engines – you can decide whether they are successful.

There is also the usual special attention for the Norfolk marques of Caterham and Lotus.
