After two thirds of the Norfolk SRA Summer League season, East Anglia remain clear favourites to retain their Premier Division title after maintaining their unbeaten record with a convincing 16-5 maximum away to Bannatyne's.
Nathan Taylor and Jack Pearse both won their matches 3-2, Ian Douglas beat Paul Gedge 3-1 and Ashley Briggs won the first string match against Jordan Creed in straight games.
Earlier, East Anglia had achieved another maximum, beating Barnham Broom 16-3 with Briggs and Douglas both winning in straight games against Matthew Bolt and Simon Howling respectively while Andrew Woods won 3-2 and Gareth Joubert won 3-1.
Barnham went on to fare much better against bottom side Oasis, winning 14-3, with Bolt and Howling this time winning their matches in straight games. Veteran Vince Somers also won his match 3-0 while the one Oasis winner was Mark Nicholls, who beat Ian Thompson 3-1.
In Division One, North Norfolk and Barnham Broom II shared the points in a 10-10 draw while at the bottom of the table Cromer had a welcome 14-5 victory over Bannatyne's II who have replaced them in fifth place.
