There has been a double national success to celebrate for Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall's pupils.
The school sent its under-11 and under-13 boys teams to Lee Valley Hockey Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London to compete in the Independent Schools Association (ISA) national hockey finals.
Competing on pitches that were used by the world's best players for the London 2012 Olympics, Langley's under-13s were on top form to win the title for their age group last Thursday.
The under-11 team also enjoyed a successful day, finishing as runners-up in their age group out of a competitive pool of 20 teams.
Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall's head of marketing and communications, Alexandra Crossley, said: 'It was a long day with many tired but very happy players coming back home to Norfolk, proud to have represented not only the school but their county.'
