Norfolk Premier completed a double over London in their last ICC group game but the outcome was undecided until the final end of the match.

Colin Coman, Jon Sparham, Kim Bridge and Melvin Woods had won their first rinks game 16-5 but their final game was level at 9-9 with one end remaining.

The match result would be decided by the final score and Melvin's rink did not disappoint taking a three to win 12-9 giving Norfolk a 22-18 points win. Young Wymondham player Mikey George made his county debut at lead in Brian Saunders' rink and played extremely well as they took three points from four.

It was also a good day for Norfolk's pairs as Andrew Stratton and Paul Baker won their games 10-9 and 15-6 and Colin Stevenson and Neil Davidson added a 21-10 win.

London edged the triples as Jean Woods, Robin Amos and George Clarke earned one point and Mark Linsdell, Nigel Willard and Chris Mann won their second game 16-8.

Halvergate and England player David Lamb went down by small margins in both his singles games but Anglian Windows' star Mike Boswell won his first game 13-10. Bob Carter swept aside Woodbastwick to reach the semi-final stage of the Norfolk County Cup.

The visitors could not cope with the home side in awesome form as Nigel Willard's triple won 25-9, David Lamb's triple won 29-6, Trevor Brown's triple won 20-3 and Melvin Woods' triple won 19-8.

Cromer failed to make home advantage count in their quarter-final tie against Thorpe Marriott. The match finished at 4-4 on points but with Marriott's Tony Turner's triple winning 31-7 Cromer were defeated on shots by 65-50.
