Diss face another tough test tomorrow when they travel to Romford to take on Campion – but they could scarcely be in better spirits for the big game.

The men from Mackenders hammered then leaders Chelmsford 57-0 in their previous fixture, having seen off fellow high-flyers Norwich 33-14 at Beeston Hyrne the weekend before that.

Indeed, since losing 27-22 at South Woodham Ferrers on October 18 Diss have reeled off five straight league wins, scoring 210 points while conceding just 31.

Add to that a near century in their Norfolk Cup win over Swaffham and it's easy to see why the team are riding on the crest of a wave at present.

They are now up to second in the table, behind leaders Rochford Hundred only on points difference, but know they face a big challenge tomorrow when they face fourth placed Campion, who also won at Norwich last week.
