Diss maintained their early season form in the Premier Division of the Anaco-sponsored Norfolk SRA Summer Leagues with a 15-5 victory over Broadland.

East Anglia picked up 13 points as they beat North Walsham 13-6 and Bannatyne's and Oasis shared the points in a closely fought 11-11 draw.

For Diss, Jack Bell beat Chris Ashman in straight games, Jack Ramm won 3-1 against Steve Moxey and Dave Gouldby also won 3-1, beating Dan Jacobs in the first string match. Rob Hambrook was the one Broadland winner, beating Tom Bobbins 13-8 in the fifth. Matt Johnson and Luke Doddington won their matches 3-0 for East Anglia while North Walsham had to settle for a 3-1 win from Tom Smith over Andy Woods and a 3-2 win from Matthew Bolt against Ashley Briggs.

The match at Bannatyne's could not have been closer as Anthony Baines won 3-2 against David Horrex and Alex Ingham beat Terry Mayes 3-1 to give the home side the advantage. But Oasis replied through Paul Atterton, who beat Dom Williams 9-13 13-7 13-9 10-13 13-11 and then Mark Thomas beat Max Dawson 3-1 in the final first string match.

In Division One, Bannatyne's II went one better than their first team as they beat the Bob Carter Centre 13-5. Tim Allenden, who won in straight games, was the Carter Centre's only winner as Ian Pearson lost 3-0 and both Steve Cunningham and Marco Valori lost 3-1. Cromer won their derby against North Norfolk 14-7 as Henri Paul beat Devendra Mahatme in straight games and Richard Keeble beat Martin Guppy 3-1. For North Norfolk, both Kevin Blake and Tim Perry won 3-2 against Alex Foster and Ben Herrieven respectively.

Barnham Broom II picked up a maximum as they won 16-3 at North Walsham II and Broadland II won 11-6 at home to Fakenham. For Barnham, Craig Matless won 3-2 and Adie Martin won 3-1 while they also won the first and second string matches in straight games.

Broadland Hunters had a resounding 16-2 victory over Cromer II in Division Two with Richard Barnes, Chris Ashman and Alan Markwell all winning in straight games.
