Disciplined approach for 5th Master of Arms

Fencers gathered at the Sportspark at the UEA at the weekend to contest the 5th Master of Arms.

To qualify for this title the event involves fencing in all disciplines – foil, sabre and epee.

The overall Master of Arms was won in the men's by Theo Edwards of Oundle, Peterborough and Stamford Epee Club and the women's by Silvia Brown, from Bedford.

Foil: Gold - Theo Edwards (OPS). Gold – Natalia Rowe (Affondo). Silver - Simon Blackwell (Loughborough University). Bronze - Adam Barnard (Gt Yarmouth and Waveney Fencing Club).

Sabre: Gold - Theo Edwards (OPS). Gold - Silvia Brown (Bedford Fencing Club). Silver - Ben Bone (UEA). Bronze - Simon Blackwell (Loughborough Uni).
