Dereham Town will go top of Bostik Division One North if they take all three points at AFC Hornchurch tonight.
The Magpies have been in superb form in the league, winning their last five in a row, but that record will be put to the test against third-placed Hornchurch, who are undefeated in the league so far this season.
Dereham's latest win came courtesy of goals from Jake Anema and Danny Beaumont at Cheshunt to keep Neal Simmons' men in second place in the table.
The Magpies have played three more games than tonight's opponents, who beat Soham Town on Saturday thanks to a George Purcell double and are widely regarded as one of the favourites for promotion.
Elsewhere this evening, Wroxham will look to follow up their 7-2 win over Haverhill Borough when they entertain Gorleston, who were without a game at the weekend.
Kirkley & Pakefield return to action at Walmer Road with Walsham-le-Willows the visitors.
