Dereham Town travel to Romford this afternoon hoping to continue their good recent run.

The Magpies have lost only once in the Bostik North League in the last two months – a 1-0 away defeat against Barking – and have also progressed through to the semi-finals of the Norfolk Senior Cup.

Manager Neal Simmons' side will be hoping to capitalise on their opponents' busy schedule this afternoon. Romford played against Billericay on Thursday night in the Essex Senior Cup, when they were thumped 6-1. They have lost their last four league games, conceding 11 in the last two, and have slipped to second from bottom of the table.

Simmons has added Ollie Ebbage and Seamus Kelleher to the squad which gained a useful point against play-off chasing rivals Canvey Island at Aldiss Park on Tuesday night.

Dereham are currently fifth in the table, just three points behind third-placed Potters Bar.
