Dennison and Richards lead Broadland revival
NORFOLK WOMEN'S LEAGUE: Broadland II produced a stirring second half comeback to win 4-2 at North Walsham II in the Premier Division.
Trailing by two goals at the break, Broadland turned the game on its head in the second period with Abi Dennison and Nikki Richards each grabbing two goals.
Norwich City II moved to the top of the table with a 3-1 win at Pelicans II.
City took the lead when Kaitlin Dawkins fed Lauren Lawrie and she deflected the ball into the net.
The setback inspired Pelicans who drove at the Norwich defence and equalised from a penalty corner.

City gained the initiative again after the break when Lawrie's neat chip set Caroline Illing up for their second goal.
From a Pelicans penalty corner, City broke away to score their third, with Lawrie netting her second of the game.

Panthers recovered from a sloppy start to beat Harleston Magpies IV 6-1.
Magpies went ahead midway through the first half when a slick move through the middle ended with Katie Webb smashing the ball past the Panthers keeper.
That drew a response from Panthers and although Magpies keeper Ellie O'Sullivan kept them at bay for a while, they drew level just before the break through Gemma Haywood.
A positive response at the start of the second half saw Katie Barnard score twice to put Panthers 3-1 up.
Haywood notched her second of the game, before Tracy Toyn netted with a fiery strike from a penalty corner and then went on to add another late on.
In Division One, Norwich City III lead the way following their emphatic 10-2 win at Pelicans III.
Jess Harris set the ball rolling for City straight from the off and she soon added two more to complete an early hat-trick.
Ellie Brine grabbed the fourth before another Harris strike made it 5-0 at half-time.
Brine added the sixth soon after the break, with Kirstin Aitken seizing on a Brine pass to make it 7-0. Harris tapped in her fifth and City's eighth before Pelicans finally responded with a goal of their own. Chris Frazer's strike made it 9-1 and although Pelicans scored again, City had the final word with Maddie Taylor making it double figures.
Harleston Magpies V also won their second match of the season in convincing fashion, beating Yarmouth II 7-1.
Kara Kilbourn scored twice in the first half and Shirley McAllen added a third before half-time. Kilbourn netted twice more after the break, with McAllen adding her second and Sophie Long registering a debut goal, before Yarmouth scored a consolation goal near the end.
Norwich Dragons III started strongly against Dereham IV but fell behind to a breakaway goal and then failed to convert several short corners before succumbing to a 2-0 defeat.
Louise Bracey scored twice for Sprowston II, but it was not enough to prevent UEA III from recording a 3-2 win.
In Division Two, Norwich City V beat Harleston Magpies VI 4-1 with a hat-trick from Olivia Greenway and a sole effort from Anya Farrow.
