Two match-winning batting displays are recognised in this week's EDP24/Hansells Cricket Awards. Dereham B's Dale Barrett and Hales' Dan Anderson were nominated by club representatives and each receive £10 vouchers to spend at Pilch Sports in Norwich. Barrett, 14, hit his maiden half-century for Dereham B to help them stay top of the West Norfolk League Division Five table. He scored an unbeaten 54 and then took the catch which wrapped up victory as Dereham won by 128 runs. Anderson, 18, smashed an undefeated 168 against Caister in the Mid Norfolk Sunday League as Hales won by 158 runs.

t The EDP24/Hansells Cricket Awards are open to cricketers of all ages, playing at all standards. We are looking to reward not just the highest runscorers and top bowlers, but also those players whose performance represents a real achievement. For example, it might be the youngster batting at number 11 who hits the winning runs, or the experienced veteran who hits his first century after years of trying. If someone from your club achieves something like that this weekend, or during a midweek game, why not nominate them for next week's award? All you have to do is email your nomination to norfolksport@archant.co.uk including the nominee's name, age, club, match details and a brief summary of what they did in the game. Please also include a contact telephone number and attach a recent photograph, stating EDP24 Cricket Awards in the subject line. The deadline for entries is Wednesday at noon and winners are announced every Friday in the EDP and on the website, www.edp24.co.uk/cricket
