Daniel Allen scored for the Angels, now managed by John Musgrove, who was in charge of Gorleston last season. Walsham's reward is a home tie against Hempnall on October 14, when other second round pairings will be Aylsham Wanderers v Scole, Dersingham v Lowestoft Town Res, Gayton v Wroxham Res, Halvergate v Norwich Union, Loddon v Dereham Town Res, Sprowston Athletic v Blofield and Wymondham Town v Brandon.
Goals from Matthew Hall, Michael Reynolds and Matthew Trollope earned Aylsham a 3-0 win at Holt, while Scole won 2-1 (Wayne Barrett, own goal) at Watton, who replied via an own goal.
Dersingham beat Hindringham 4-0, with Stuart Able (2), Darren Ely and Adam Seal their marksmen, while goals from Ian Dawson, Adrian Holland and Reece Hunn earned Lowestoft a 3-1 victory over Beccles Town, for whom Matthew Davidson was on target.
Strikes from Martyn Allen (2), Philip Hutt, Steven Parkes and Dale Spooner earned Gayton a 5-0 win at Wells, while Wroxham won 3-2 (Ross Durrant, Bradley Hoffman and Lucas Kent) at Sheringham, who replied via Darren Nichols and an own goal.
Goals from Lee Skoyles and Stephen Taylor earned Halvergate a 2-1 win over Stalham, whose scorer was Steven Ellis, while Norwich Union beat St Andrews 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw.

Loddon beat Southwold 3-1 (Colin Forder, David Matthews, Daniel Tregale) and Dereham won 3-1 (Nathan Ferguson, Stuart Garner and Stuart McNab-Grieve) at Attleborough.
James Lacey, Matthew Racher and Oliver Rudd scored for Sprowston Athletic in their 3-2 win at Acle, whose goals both came from Peter Skivington, while Blofield beat Sprowston Wanderers 2-0, with Oliver Christie twice on target.
Wymondham Town won 1-0 (Gareth Downs) against Mattishall, while Brandon won 2-1 against Mundford, whose marksman was Nicky Quantrill.
Corton produced the biggest win in the Cyril Ballyn Trophy first round, beating Harleston 8-1. Wortwell won 2-1 at Outlon Broad, while Newton Flotman, Swaffham Town Res and Yarmouth Town Res all had 3-1 wins, respectively against Thetford Rovers, Necton and Freethorpe.
