The final of the Norfolk club championship (Bales Cup) will be held on Friday at Norfolk BC and is an all Premier League affair with County Arts taking on North Walsham EBA.

The County Double Fours Championship for the Lord Fermoy Cup has reached the semi-final stage, which will take place on Thursday.

Swaffham Town B take on their West Norfolk rivals Hunstanton EBA in the first of these and in the other Norfolk BC play Freethorpe.

Norfolk played their fourth game in the Eastern Counties League against Hertfordshire at County Arts on Saturday.

Both Norfolk and Hertfordshire went into the match having won all of their three opening matches and it was Hertfordshire who came out on top winning 121-104 and taking 18 of the 22 points at stake.

Although for Norfolk it was a disappointing result, with the Middleton Cup quarter-final imminent manager Brian Taylor took the opportunity to blood several new players in the team.

In the end Hertfordshire proved too strong and proved worthy winners.
