Norfolk U10s claimed a 38-run victory over Northants at Corby.

The visitors were put into bat and after losing Amos Coates and Thomas Robson steadied the innings, taking the score to 45 before Coates was run out for 24.

Captain Lewis Reeder joined Robson, with Reeder rotating the strike while Robson punished anything loose. Robson made an excellent 68 which ended a superb third-wicket partnership of 117. Reeder (53) went on the attack in the final few overs as Norfolk – sponsored by NFU Mutual Norwich Branch – finished the innings on 201-5.

In reply Reeder took an early wicket and a double bowling change produced two wickets in two overs with Lawrence Williams and Sam Reynolds striking. Charlie Carroll (34) was removed by Amos Coates and the game turned Norfolk's way before Coates (3-22) claimed another two wickets and Adam Robson one as Northants finished on 163-7.
