The Norfolk Cricket Alliance have changed their rules regarding promotion to the league from the two feeder leagues.
Only teams winning either the Norfolk League or West Norfolk League will be accepted for promotion and applications for promotion must now be made 18 months in advance. Therefore, clubs wishing to apply for promotion for the 2014 season must apply by September 30 this year. An Alliance spokesman said: 'The purpose of the rule change is to provide clubs that wish to join the Alliance more time to make any necessary changes to their ground and it also ensures all clubs know what they are playing for from the beginning of the respective season.'
