As the summer season draws to a close, clubs are being invited to take part in the North Walsham Indoor Cricket League, which starts in October.
The league, with the help of the Norfolk Cricket Board, have introduced several changes in an attempt to encourage more teams to take part.
Matches will be played on Wednesday evenings, starting on October 17 and a fully qualified umpire will officiate.
Teams will be limited to two county players each, and match costs remain the same at 3 per player.
Results, fixtures and standings will be published on the Norfolk Cricket Board website, www.norfolkcricket.co.uk
There will be an opportunity for clubs to play a trial match before the league starts and there will be a league meeting this Tuesday at North Walsham Sports Centre (at the High School) at 8pm. All clubs wanting to take part in the league should send a representative.
