The Canaries have launched their first end of season awards aimed specifically at the club's young supporters - the SoccerPM! awards. Voting for the annual Anglian Player of the Year award has already started, but the aim of the SoccerPM! 2006/07 awards is to ask the club's under-16 fans to vote for their favourite players in five categories.

The Canaries have launched their first end of season awards aimed specifically at the club's young supporters - the SoccerPM! awards.

Voting for the annual Anglian Player of the Year award has already started, but the aim of the SoccerPM! 2006/07 awards is to ask the club's under-16 fans to vote for their favourite players in five categories.

The winners will be announced during the annual open day on Sunday, April 29 with one supporter from each category presenting the award to the winning player.

The five categories are: Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year - awarded to a City player who made his debut for the Canaries during the season - Goal Celebration of the Year, Coolest Player of the Year and Goal of the Season.

The nominations for Goal of the Season are:

a) Dickson Etuhu v Cardiff City (October 21), b) Robert Earnshaw v Wolverhampton Wanderers (December 23), c) Simon Lappin v Luton (February 27) or d) Darren Huckerby v Birmingham City (March 13).

Voting slips are available from Carrow Road or supporters can write to Soccer PM! 2006/07 Awards, Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich, NR1 1JE or email SoccerPM!@ncfc-canaries.co.uk.

Votes must be cast before Friday, April 20 with the supporters winning the opportunity to present the players with their awards notified by April 25.
