Local cricket coaches will have the chance to brush up their skills at two workshops organised by the Norfolk Cricket Board this summer.
The workshops, at Swanton Morley Cricket Club on Monday, June 14 and at Brooke CC on Monday, July 12, will be led by Norfolk player-coach Chris Brown, who recently gained his Level Four coaching qualification. Several of the county's leading coaches will also be providing support.
The sessions will cover batting, fast bowling, fielding, spin bowling and strength and conditioning and the aim is to help coaches in Norfolk stay at the forefront of developing the county's young talent.
Any qualified coach is welcome to attend, although there will be a small charge for any coach who is not a member of the ECB Coaches Association.
The workshops will run from 6pm to 8pm and anyone interested in securing a place should email the NCB coach education administrator, Bim Down, at coachncb@aol.co.uk
