Defender Graham Challen received three awards at Wroxham's prize presentation dinner at the Salhouse Lodge.

The Ridgeons League champions' vice-captain was voted Players' Player and was also favoured by manager Damian Hilton and the club's veteran committee man 88-year-old Jack Powles.

Fellow centre-back Josh Carus was the supporters' choice while the President's Award went to leading scorer Lee Gilman.

Charlton Halliday received three awards for his performances in the youth and reserve teams while Kane Taylor was singled out as the top youth team player.

Mark Wilkinson was supported as Clubman of the Year for his reserve team management and groundsman. The club physio Drina Brookman called up veteran right back Gavin Pauling to receive her award for the Most Improved Player.

Head trustee Kenny Cooke said winning the Ridgeons title surpassed anything that had gone before and added: “Damien Hilton and his assistant Greg Downs, as well as the sponsors and workers behind the scenes, have transformed this club into one with huge success in just two seasons. The first XI, the reserves and youth teams have all had a wonderful season.”
