Bowlers from Blakeney, Buxton, Cawston, Coltishall, Cromer, Dilham, Erpingham, North Walsham and Sheringham Mill Farm took part in the annual Norfolk & Norwich Scope Association Bowls League open pairs tournament at Cawston – which raised �208.60.
The winners of the tournament and the North Norfolk News Trophy were Michael Tortice and Tony Thrower (Cawston) with John Hill and Richard Anderson-Dungar (also Cawston) runners-up.
The cheque will be presented to NANSA at the annual dinner/dance presentation night at Woodland Leisure Park, Trimingham on Saturday, October 6, along with the proceeds from the mixed pairs event being hosted by Erpingham BC on Sunday, August 19.
