Norfolk riding clubs continue to impress with recent wins at the British Riding Clubs Area 14 one day event National qualifier held at Poplar Park, near Woodbridge.

The junior novice team qualifier was won by Beccles & Bungay RC while the Carleton RC scooped both the junior intermediate and the senior intermediate qualifiers and Carousel RC won the senior novice team qualifier.

Carleton's junior intermediate team consisted of Ben Westgate on Kilkenny Red, Annabel Lyles on Bradmoor High Flyer, William Lyles on Cru II and Georgie Wood on Ashley VI. Their senior intermediate team was Johnny Hustler on Ich Heisse Peanut, Lucie Hustler on Fairfax Jackdaw, Jo Masterson on Fairystory and Casey Parker on Dingli Satisfaction.

The Senior Open was won by Georgie Bell from Beccles and Bungay with Jo Masterson on Toystory III second.

The National Championships will be held at Aston Le Walls, Northants at the beginning of August – with Carleton's Senior Intermediate team going for a hat-trick having won the National title two years in a row.
