There was a close finish in the Norfolk Golfers' Alliance meeting at Eaton, with Marriott Sprowston Manor's Craig Butler taking the honours.
He recorded 36 Stableford points to pip Will Cross of Dereham by a single point, with Mark Allen (Eaton) and King's Lynn's Jack Yule joint third on 33.
The home pairing of Mark Jackson and Ron McDonald won the Myhill Bowls with a degree of comfort, their score of 43 points being three better than their closest challengers.
Three pairs shared second position, John Clancy (Costessey Park) and Tony Matless (Royal Cromer), Sean Brady (Marriott Sprowston) and Tony Cowan (Eaton) and Andrew Rackham (Marriott Sprowston) and Norman Angus (Wensum Valley). There was also a four-way tie for fifth on 39 points between Craig Butler and Cliff Beck (Marriott Sprowston), David Marshall and Steve Quick (Eaton), Kelly Carter and Paul Howell (Sheringham) and Andy Garrick and Mark J Allen (King's Lynn).
