Bunn rises to occasion for Melton

Martin Bunn made 51 for the hosts as they won by 54 runs to go 15 points clear at the top.

Second-placed Swardeston B beat Acle A by seven wickets after a starring display from Steven Cadge.

He took three for 31 and then hit an unbeaten 83.

Great Witchingham A stepped up to third with an 85-run win at Ashmanhaugh.

Leaders Rocklands won by five wickets at Diss A.

Charlie Pask scored 76 for the hosts, before Simon Mann (97) guided Rocklands towards victory.

It finished all-square between Halvergate and Great Melton A as both sides totalled 148.

Division Six frontrunners Mattishall A cruised to a nine-wicket win at Bradfield A, thanks to the efforts of Jake Smith (53no) and Paul Beaumont (72no).

Improving Dereham A gained a winning draw at home to Thetford A, as Ian Battelley again showed his class with 74. Keith Greyson (four for 28) and Pat Sparkes (74no) were Thetford's star men.

Andy Adcock fired 78 to put Topcroft A on course for a winning draw at Vauxhall Mallards B.

Lowestoft A beat Beccles A by eight wickets and Garboldisham A strolled to a nine-wicket triumph over Saxlingham A.
