Broadland are doing all they can to ensure that the champions of the Anaco sponsored Norfolk SRA Summer League for 2012 are not decided until every match has been played.

Last week they thrashed struggling Oasis 16-2 to maintain an 11 point lead over the reigning champions, East Anglia who do, however, have two matches in hand. Rob Hambrook and Roly Gosai both won their matches in straight games while Katie Lawrence and Steve Moxey both won 3-1.

East Anglia were without a match this week but in a late result from the previous week they too achieved a maximum against Oasis with Ashley Briggs, Ian Douglass, Gareth Joubert and Jack Pearse all winning in straight games. Barnham Broom remain in third place after beating visiting Bannatyne's 15-5. For Bannatyne's Jake Bond beat Ian Thompson 3-2 but 3-1 wins for Pete Hubbard and Craig Aldred and a 3-0 win for Matthew Bolt over Jordan Creed gave Barnham the points.

In Division One North Norfolk won their local derby against Cromer surprisingly easily coming out on top 16-4. Devendra Mahatme beat John Baker 3-1, Kevin Blake and Martin Guppy both won in straight games and Tim Perry came from 1-2 down to beat young Alex Oliver 3-2. The match between Bannatyne's II and Fakenham was postponed.

In Division Two any one of four teams could finish in second place behind the runaway divisional champions, North Walsham and any one of four could be relegated. Broadland II currently have a slight advantage and are in second place despite losing 15-5 to Potters and 11-6 to Wensum Lodge. Against Potters Jon Bird beat Cliff High 3-2 but he was the only winner as Richard Soanes and David Cook both won 3-0 and Darren Green beat Terry Mayes 3-2. Against Wensum Terry Mayes won 3-0 and Mark Woolner won 3-1 but straight game wins for Tim Allenden and Ian Pearson gave Wensum the bonus points.

Potters and Long Stratton shared the points in a 8-8 draw. Straight game wins for Darren Green and Richard Soanes were cancelled out by Jack Bell and Dan Betts both of whom won their matches 3-0.

Cromer II remain top of Division Three, four points ahead of Broadland IV, despite losing 14-7 to Fakenham II. Ben Herrieven won 3-1 for Cromer but both Martin Sanville and Nick Dunnett lost 3-2 and John Chandler was beaten in straight games. The top two teams still have to play each other in their third match and whoever wins that will probably win the division.
