British Rail slipped to second in the City Short Mat League despite beating Horsford Heroes 14-0 at home.
Sprowston took over at the top after beating Jarrolds 12-2 at home C Thornton, J Mason, J Poynter won 21-9. Sprowston lost their unbeaten record away to defending champions RG Carter 10-4 at half-time they were nine shots up but lost the 2nd half by 16. Carters also beat Taverham 12-2 at home as N Willard won 24-8.
Bonds secured their first win of season at home to Framingham Earl D Stearman skipped her triple to a 24-3 win and it was ladies night as G Holmes won 21-6. Old Bonds then lost the plot and were beaten 14-0 by Deaf Sports & Horsford Bowls Club.
Felthorpe lost 10-4 at home to Deaf Sport, Deaf's winners were J Jeffery 9-8 and M Hill 20-2 Felthorpe winners were P Nash 8-7 and J Green 10-9.
Thorpe Marriott played First Bus at home and were beaten 12-2. Jarrolds lost their second game of the week as they were beaten 12-2 at home by Anglian Windows although there was only a single shot between the teams.
