A bustling day of Trailblazers Dressage took place at Lime Kiln Farm EC, with competitors keen to have one last practice run before the Trailblazers Regionals in April.
The first class of the day was won by Flick Williams, riding Welsh Section A gelding Hafdre Acw. Second place went to Kate Monaghan aboard Barney. The senior section of Intro A was won by Phillida Hurn and Extra Emily, while Charley Bangay and Henry took top spot in the junior section. Samantha Baker and Deepdale Daisy made their first journey from near Wisbech and took top spot in Prelim 7, ahead of Tasarla Lagan and Diamond Geezer. In Prelim 13, Benji Manners and Chip II were eventual winners, with William Lyles and Bradmore High Flyer in second, Samantha Baker in third and Rebecca Clayton riding Stuart Little in fourth.
William and Bradmore High Flyer then went on to win Novice 24, narrowly beating Mel Dale and My Copper Charm into second. Novice 34, the final class of the day, was won by Gill Mason and Fernhill by Design.
This Sunday sees an Easter Day Fun Day at Lime Kiln and today the British Showjumping will be going ahead.
