King's Lynn Town boss Ian Culverhouse has called on his side to be more clinical as they prepare for their Southern League Premier clash at Biggleswade this evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Linnets were held to a goalless draw at Kings Langley at the weekend when Culverhouse's men missed several chances to take all three points.

But the point did at least ensure Lynn stayed top of the league, four points clear of second-placed Weymouth. Hereford and Kettering are five points shy of King's Lynn having played two games fewer.

'We do need to become more clinical in games when we have the upper hand to make life a bit more comfortable for ourselves but I'm sure that will happen,' said Culverhouse. 'I would be more concerned were we not making those chances.'

Biggleswade currently sit in 15th place in the table and Culverhouse is expecting another battle.

'It really will be another tough one for us,' added the former Norwich City defender. 'They are going very well at home and gave us a really good examination in the home game earlier in the season, We battled very hard on Saturday at Kings Langley in what was a physical game so it's all about recovery, preparation and channelling your thoughts into the next game.

'We have a lot of games coming up but we are no different to the other teams. It is a big league with several Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday scenarios, But as I have said before it will be about us, how we play and how we do our business.'

Town will be without Frazer Blake-Tracy for around two weeks after the defender underwent minor surgery last week. Other than that there are no major injury concerns.

The reserves entertain Norwich CBS on Tuesday evening at The Walks (7:45) in a game that has been bought forward by 24 hours. Rob Back's team collected a point at Debenham LC on Saturday.
