Sailors at Buckenham started the Club House Trophy Race in a light breeze. However the wind picked up and led to some exciting sailing.
Javelin Big Zipper went well ahead of the fleet on three sail spinnaker reaches, closely followed by Jim Frost in Phantom Skylark. Despite capsizing, Pete Lumley in Laser Yare Baby finished third. These three finished in that order and kept their places on corrected time. There were a number of retirements further down the fleet.
In the General Allcomers race, Big Zipper got 'unzipped' when their spinnaker went under the hull and Jim Frost in Skylark and Pete Lumley finished well ahead of the Javelin to take first and second respectively.
In the Junior race, Joseph Burrell in Eclipse was the only competitor to finish the course.
