Swaffham break new ground at the weekend when they compete in their first Norfolk Junior Cup final.
They travel to Crusaders on Sunday (3pm) looking to round off a highly promising season by picking up some silverware.
The first team only narrowly missed out on promotion to Eastern Counties One, with the final decision on the teams promoted going to the final weekend of the season. Meanwhile the second XV achieved promotion with a number of games still remaining in their league.
With a new coaching structure at the club and the influx of a number of colts into both the first and second teams the club is well placed for next season's campaigns, but this weekend's focus will be on cup glory.
The squad, led by club captain John Chamberlain, will travel to Crusaders with a large support.
Crusaders also go into the game on a high after securing their Eastern Counties One status last weekend with a draw against Ely – so everything is set fair for an interesting finale to the campaign.
The season concludes the following weekend, with Diss entertaining North Walsham in the final of the Norfolk Senior Cup on Sunday, April 29 (3pm).
