Beaten North Walsham still top of Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League
North Walsham remain top of Division Three of the Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League, despite losing 95-74 at Lakeside B.
The Lakeside rink skipped by Terry Maidstone top-scored 31-20.
Roundwood A lost their first match of the season, 86-72 at Pinewood Park B, with the Pinewood rink skipped by Geoff Gravenor winning 26-16.
Acle C won their first match of the season beating visiting Brecks 84-63, Michael Askhams' rink winning 26-12. Wymondham B are the new Division Four leaders after winning at home against Browston B 84-62, Terry Prior's rink top scoring 29-10.
Gallow B lost 82-66 at home to Diss B – top rink was R Biggs for Diss 28-13 – and Norfolk BC C lost at home to County Arts C 88-75, top rink R Fox for County Arts 25-11.

In the Denny Cup, Norfolk BC beat Ipswich 87-69 and Acle beat Barking 79-69 to both progress to the fifth round. In the Denny Plate County Arts beat Mid Suffolk 70-39 to move into the fourth round.
