"It is hard for the whole team," he said. "We put a lot of effort in today and it is the same old story - we have got nothing out of it. There is nothing better than making good saves, but at the end of the day it is still a defeat. You don't look back at the saves and think you done well because it is a team game and we have come away with nothing again.

"We showed great spirit after two bad results and two horrible performances and we knew we had something to prove. Not just to the people who come to watch us week in week out but also to ourselves."
