Women of Norfolk! Get on your bicycle this June and win a spa day to celebrate the Aviva Women's Tour coming to Norfolk for the first time.

To celebrate the first stage of the Aviva Women's Tour heading to Norfolk on June 15, Active Norfolk is encouraging the women of the county to get cycling. You'll get fit for the summer, and you could win a spa day.

There are two types of cycle challenges to take part in:

•Solo Challenge - Cycle the Norfolk Stage

Cycle the Norfolk stage distance, a total of 45.1 miles, during the month of June. This is the equivalent of just over one and a half miles per day. Click here for further information and rides in the county to help you meet your target.

From June 1 to June 30 a target bar will appear in the dashboard pages of all women who are signed up to the Workplace Challenge. Just log your cycling (minutes and distance in miles) on the Workplace Challenge website during June and you will be able to track your progress throughout the month. You don't need to sign up or subscribe to anything else to do this.

•Group Challenge - Cycle the length of the country

Be part of a team effort to cycle the equivalent distance of Land's End to John O'Groats (950 miles) during the month of June and be in with a chance to win a voucher for a full day spa package.

To get involved, click here. Once you have joined, just log any cycling you do between 1 - 30 June as normal. The winner of the prize will be picked at random on July 1 from those individuals taking part in the challenge who have signed up and logged a ride during the challenge period.

Simply log your cycling (minutes and distance in miles) on the Workplace Challenge website during June and you will be able to track your progress throughout the month, joining with other Norfolk women to see how far we can cycle together. Those who take part will be entered into a prize draw and one lucky lady will win a luxury spa day, including pampering treatments of their choice such as a massage, body wrap, facial, manicure and beauty treatments.

Kerrie Gallagher, Community Capacity Manager at South Norfolk Council, said: 'The Women's Tour of Britain has really encouraged us to dig out our bikes from the back of the garage and get back on our bikes this year – and cycle the Norfolk Stage throughout June. Hopefully the weather will hold up for us.

'We are really looking forward to getting out and supporting the Tour as it heads through South Norfolk on the 15th June.

'Having dug out my bike from the back of the garage it's made me realise I need to utilise the Cycle to Work Scheme offered by my employer to upgrade my two wheels.'
