The first games of the 2013 autumn County 5IVES leagues took place at Lynn Grove High School, Gorleston, with many more leagues across the county set to start in the following week or two.

The good news is there is still time to enter a side into some of our leagues with an exciting kit offer thrown in for new teams that join for the 2013 autumn season.

Gorleston Thursday Premiership

As ever some competitive games in this division with Gorleston Albion the big winners of the night with a 5-0 success against Gorleston 6s.

Newly-promoted Feed The Goats gave a good account of themselves and showed they will be a tough team to play against, losing 1-0 to the skilful Blush International who finished mid-table last season and will be looking to improve on that this campaign.

Gorleston Revolution and Grasshoppers shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Smack My Pitch Up, disappointing last season, are seemingly back to their normal level of performance with a 3-0 victory over Anydanger AFC.

Championship

Bradwell Eagles powered past E Is For Idiots with an impressive 5-1 victory. The Eagles are a side that have been playing in the Gorleston County 5IVES leagues for a number of seasons now, could this be there year to finally reach the Premier Division?

Active X settled into championship life following promotion well with a comprehensive 4-1 win over BS Topsoil whilst Eddie Johnson FC also started with a win and a clean sheet to boot, 1-0 against Iguana FC.

The Unexpected 2 lost 4-2 to Three Lions in an entertaining game to complete the championship round up.

League One

All winning sides in this league clearly have a good defensive platform upon which they build from as all kept a clean sheet. Swaffham Raceway did the most damage at the other end, putting four past Yolo FC.

Ham Wallets, new to the league started with a 3-0 success over Bayern Badonde, whilst San Marino B won 2-0 against Peterson's and Spriggo's Barmy Army enjoyed a 1-0 win against Sidegate Motors.
