Anthony George is determined to make amends this weekend after a detached turbo pipe cost the local racer victory the last time the Alfa Romeo Championship visited his home track of Snetterton.

From the back of the grid the Harleston racer tore through the field to second place – but Roger Evans' GTV proved too far out of reach.

If his potent 156 turbo charged car behaves itself this weekend George should be able to follow his recent Rockingham victory with a double on his local circuit.

Ilsa Cox journeys to Norfolk this weekend, with her Seat Leon Cupra, determined to maintain her championship lead in the Arrowpak Euro Sports and Saloon series as it enters the second half of the season.

Feltwell's Peter Challis hopes to get his season back on track and challenge Cox while Wayne Schofield and Andy Robinson have each won their category four times, with their Suzuki Cappuccino and Ford Falcon respectively, and aim to keep up their chase for the title.

Rod Birley's potent Escort loves the Snetterton straights and he is also fresh from a double at Lydden in the Motorsport News Saloons and could easily add more victories to his overall tally for the season.

Richard Mitcham is a three time winner in the Formula Jedi series in 2012 to hold a narrow points lead over Barry Armstrong who needs a victory this weekend to close up the championship battle while Kings Lynn's Robert Sayell aims for Club class success.

The Sports 2000 competitors always provide plenty of excitement with Mike Jenvey, Patrick Sherrington and Robert Oldershaw renewing their season long battle for supremacy. The 15 race programmes starts at 12.25pm on Saturday and resumes on the following day from 1.20pm.

Finally, September 22/23 sees the Modified Live, Europe's hottest performance car show.
