The cold weather decimated the Anglian Combination league programme this weekend - but there were some matches that survived.

Norwich CEYMS missed out on the chance to go second in the Premier Division as they went down to a 2-1 defeat at home to Wroxham Res, whose goals came from Jack Parker and Tom Wiley. Thomas Amiss replied for CEYMS.

Mattishall cruised to a 3-1 win over Acle courtesy of goals from Aaron Kay, Stuart Woodcock and Pat Scale whilst Stephen Drake was on target for the strugglers.

In the First Division Wymondham went top of the table thanks to an 8-1 win at North Walsham Town and Scole United are up to third after a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Watton United. Ben Norton-Hugman, Brad Hunt and Harry Brown were on target for the visitors as Watton’s goals came through Ty Bond and Sam Childerhouse.

Attleborough claimed their seventh win of the season after a 3-1 win over Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves - Matty Carr: Mark Allibone and Jamie Venables getting their goals.
